When can we skip prototyping?

When the design is mature, risks are understood and the team can confidently approve tooling from DFM and prior validation evidence.

What is bridge production?

A temporary manufacturing route used to supply early demand while the final production plan, tooling or forecast is still developing.

When should a second mold be considered?

When volume, geographic supply, capacity risk or continuity requirements justify duplicate or regional tooling.

How should launch timing be planned?

Include DFM, mold design, machining, T0/T1, corrections, production preparation, packaging and shipping—not only tool build time.
